My portraits focus on the love, beauty and connection that we have with our families. Photography is an investment and it's also a tangible reminder of how much you love (and like) each other. Prior to every photo session, I like to get to know my clients. We can set up a phone conversation or if you would rather chat over email with a few "getting to know you" questions, that works too! A deposit of 50% of the price of the session will be due to secure your photo session date/time, with the remaining balance due the day of. Acceptable forms of payment include checks, cash, and most electronic payment services like Zelle©, Stripe, Paypal, and Venmo. Please note the deposit is non-refundable, but should we need to reschedule due to inclement weather or health concerns, you may apply your deposit to a future session within one year of the paid date.
Additionally, certain desirable locations (i.e., Morton Arboretum, Garfield Park Conservatory, Bird Haven Greenhouse, Cantigny Park, etc.) require a permit, which must be both scheduled and paid in advance. Fees range from $20 - $150 depending on the venue and number of people being photographed (paid for by the client).
The typical turnaround time for a mini session is about 7 - 10 days and for a full session, the turnaround time is about 2 - 3 weeks. Once the best images have been selected and edited, they will be available for you to view in a private online gallery for you to choose the images you wish you treasure forever! When you have made your final selections, I will be sure to send you an additional gallery in which you can download the images directly onto your computer or phone. If you choose to purchase additional images outside of the amount are promised from your session, you have the option to purchase more for $10/image.
