Well, hello there! I'm Christina, the crazy woman behind the camera. I've always loved taking pictures and my hand has typically always had a camera in it. Let's be honest - the thought of taking family photos can be stressful, no matter how many times you've taken them. Little ones are unpredictable, you have to figure out what everyone's going to wear, you want everyone to be smiling at the camera, the list goes on and on... That's where I come in. I'm here to make this process as easy as possible for you because why? I know how important it is to document our families (especially the photos that you're a part of!).

I’m not only a photographer, but I’m here to tell your story. I fell in love with photography from an early age and always had a camera (or two) with me wherever I went. While I love capturing those sweet moments where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling, let's be honest - life isn't always that way (it's tough for my family sometimes, too)! I believe in moments over poses, always. We will never relive these days again and as we all know, life passes us by too fast. Let's make some memories you'll want to hold onto forever. when i'm not behind the camera...

I'm a full-time mom to our two boys (6 and 2) and absolutely drive myself nuts with trying to clean up after them - any moms out there relate? They're wild, sweet, thoughtful, insane, messy, and adorable. Honestly though, my kids are the reason for me being a photographer. I want to show them that it's so important to do something that you absolutely love to do!

In addition to being a mom, I'm also a plant mom. My houseplant collection is constantly growing (75+) and I know way too much about plants. If you have faux plants in your home I promise I'm not judging (but I kind of am - real plants are way better!). Seriously, don't ask me about my plants unless you want to hear me talk about them for an hour.

I've been married to my best friend for close to 10 years. I'm not sure how he puts up with me, but he does. He makes me laugh every day and is my biggest cheerleader with my photography business. He's definitely my better half.

We have three cats (and my husband is probably embarrassed that I'm even writing about them) but I love them so, so much. Our cats are named Chandler, Phoebe and Joey... and ironically, I'm the Monica. Can you tell that I'm a Friends fan?

Christina is a natural light (most of the time!) photographer specializing in families, maternity, newborns and seniors. She's based in Woodridge, IL with a studio in Downers Grove and serves the surrounding DuPage County areas such as Naperville, Lisle, Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Elmhurst, Carol Stream, Oak Brook, Warrenville, Darien, Hinsdale, etc. Available for travel as well.
